Walking rally + English updates

Teljesítve!! 60 km séta 16 óra alatt Tokyo belvárosából egy városnéző túra után haza Kodairába.

We've done it! Walked 60 kms in 16 hours from downtown Tokyo - after a sigthseeing trip - back to Kodaira.

A hazaérkezés pillanata :) /It was taken after we got home!! 

Elég kevés cserediák jelentkezett, mindenki elment inkább bulizni, de nem tudják milyen ismerkedésből maradtak ki.. Szerintem elég jóban lettem kb mindenkivel a csapatból, akivel 16 órán át szenvedsz hogy hazavonszoljátok magatokat, azzal elég jóban leszel utána... :) 8 fős csoportokban indultunk, este 20.45-kor szombaton. Itt Kodairában lettünk beosztva, kaptunk jegyet is, szóval semmibe nem került nekünk. Azt hittem hogy az odautat kifizettetik, de nem...
A Nippon budokan bejáratához mentünk el, ott megittunk egy energiaitalt és indultunk is. Mindenki kapott 1 kézzel készített térképet, olyan 30 oldalast, és a végén egy Mission/Küldetés volt. A feladat lényegében az volt, hogy a megadott pontokon fényképet kellett készíteni, egy bizonyos pózban. Így végigjártuk Tokyo összes nevezetességét, jól is szórakoztunk és mozogtunk is. :D Vicces volt, mert mesélték hogy tavaly 5 óra volt a Tokyon belüli rész... hát mi is így számoltunk és a végén 7 és fél óránkba tellett eljutni a Shinjukuban levő checkpointig. x_X

Most exchange students went to party instead of taking part in it, but it was awesome! They don't know what they were missing out on. I think I made a lot of new friends from the group and from other groups too, so it was worth it. :) We started in groups with 8 people at 20.45 on Saturday. We were divided to groups in Kodaira we even got train tickets till Shinjuku, I thought we'd haveto pay for that. We went to the Nippon budokan, drank an energy drink and left at 23.00. Everyone got a handmade map of about 30 pages and a Mission. The mission was taking pictures at different locations in a certain pose. This way we got to see most of the famous spots in Tokyo, we had fun and excercised at the same time. :D We were told that last year it took 5 hours in average to complete the Nippon budokan - Shinjuku course, but it took 7,5 hours for us. @_@ And we were the first ones to arrive!! This year they changed the course so the sightseeing was longer and the way home got shorter.

Az első megálló a Suitengu volt, ott olyan pózba kellett állni, amit a legjobban szeretnénk abban a pillanatban. xD Én szomjas voltam, a többiek meg pénzt akartak, az a karika japánul a pénzt jelenti. xDDD / That was the first stop: Suitengu. We had to express what we wanted the most at that moment. I was thirsty and the others wanted money. That circle means money in japanese sign language.

Az első megálló annyira kiesett a rendes útvonalról, nagyon sokat kellett kerülni. Mindjárt megkeresem majd googlemapen hogy milyen útvonalon mentünk, kíváncsi vagyok hogy pontosan hány km. A második állomás az Országház volt...:) Ott úgy kellett tenni mintha a parlament tagjai lennénk


The first stop was a bit out of the route, we had to walk back a lot. I'll look up on googlemap how many kilometers we've walked.. The second stop was the Parliament, we had to pretend to be a member of the Diet

Nem tudom mennyire sikerült HAHAH / We might have failed though... HAHAHA

 Őszinténszólva a fényképekről eszembe jutnak dolgok, de elég kevésre emlékszem... Mikor hazafelé vánszorogtunk a tűző napon, akkor az egész indulás már egy ősrégi dolognak tűnt. Azért a legjobb képeket felteszem ide, igyekszem sorrendben...:D

Honestly, after watching the pictures I can recall many things, but other than that... It feels like it's been a thousand years ago. Im gonna upload the best pictures though.. :)

Eljutottunk a Tokyo towerig. :) Itt a csapatmunkát kellett szimbolizálni... Vicces volt, mert megelőztük az összes többi csapatot, de annyit nézegettük a tornyot meg WC-re mászkáltunk meg ilyenek, hogy míg mi szórakoztunk, ők előbb odaértek a checkpointhoz. Én voltam kb ennek a csoportnak a vezetője, úgyhogy eléggé dühített. Nem volt verseny csak azért a versenyszellem.. bennem valószínűleg túlbuzgott. XD A térképolvasás egy elég szép feladat volt amúgy! Mivel kézzel készültek, nem voltak méretarányosak, így csak tippelgethettünk, hogy ami most 5 cm az vajon x km, vagy csak pár méter, mivel mindkettőre volt példa. :"D Sokszor rossz is volt a térkép, főleg az ezutáni részeken. Még jó hogy sokaknál volt iphone...

We made it to the Tokyo Tower! We had to symbolize team-work... :) It was kinda funny, because we were the first ones, but we stopped at a combini store to buy food and stopped at the Tower to take pictures and go to the toilet, so the second team got to the checkpoint first. >.< As the kind-of-leader of this team I found it pretty annoying. Reading that map was a good challenge by the way! Since it was hand-made and probably copied from googlemaps, we couldn't tell the distances by looking at it. Luckily I'm good at reading maps because I have to search things in googlemaps quite often, but these maps were wrong sometimes. They put buildings to the wrong sides and stuff like that... Many people had iphones though so we didn't get lost. 

 A következő megálló Roppongi Hills volt, ott már több emberrel találkoztunk, a bárokban meg csak külföldieket láttunk. xD Mennyit viccelődtünk ezen a Zackkel, aki mellesleg amerikai, a másik külföldi volt rajtam kívül a csoportban. A képet inkább nem tenném fel mert elég nyomi. :D Elmosódott is, meg amire én azt hittem hogy tök jó sztáros póz - mivel az lett volna a feladat, hogy celebek legyünk -, igazából majompóznak tűnik a képen.

The next stop was Roppongi Hills, we met a lot of people there even though it was around 3 am. Of course the bars were full of foreigners, we were laughing at that with Zack, the other foreginer in the group besides me. He's from the US, but he speaks really good japanese and german too! Quite rare I'd say... I'm not going to upload the picture because it's really lame. XD We had to pose like a star, and what I thought was a cool pose, actually makes me look like a monkey... 

A következő állomás Shibuya volt, nagyon érdekes volt hajnalban ott járni, amikor egy egész nyugati látvány fogadott minket: éjjel-nappali bolt előtt részegek fentrengtek és egy csomó piásüveg volt mindenfelé elszórva. Vodkás meg sörösüvegek stb. Olyan Budapest-feelingje volt. xD Leszámítva a felhőkarcolókat persze. Maga a Shibuyai állomás még félig zárva volt, de az emberek már nagyon nyüzsögtek a túloldalán. Ott volt a híres Hachiko szobor, ami előtt pózolnunk kellett a "olyan dolog amit csak most tehetsz meg" pózban. Hát mindenki alvó fejet vágott... A cél az volt h pihenés, csak ebben a pillanatban a póz erejéig pihenhetünk hiszen utána menni kell tovább.. Csajokat kb nem láttunk, csak érdekesebbnél érdekesebb kinézetű srácok ültek mindenfelé. xDD Mindenki valószínűleg az esti bulit heverte ki mi meg melegítőben odavánszorogtunk fényképezkedni..

After Roppongi we went to Shibuya. It was really interesting to see it in the morning, because it looked so westernish. Drunk people sitting in front of the non-stop stores, empty bottles around them, vodka and beer etc. It felt like Budapest, without the skyscapers. xD The Shibuya station was half-closed, the JR tracks were closed at least... (the different companies start operating at different times). It was full of people though! We barely saw any girls, only guys who looked pretty weird... they were probably trying to recover from the party at the previous night. xD We had to take a picture with the famous Hachiko-statue, and the mission was to "do something that you can do only now". So we decided to sleep, or relax, since we could relax only for the picture, after that we'd have to keep going.

 Omotesando sétány volt a következő fényképezkedős hely... Itt jártam már a Tokyoi fogadócsaládommal, mivel nagyon közel laknak. Eszembe is jutott végre írni nekik egy emailt. A feladat az volt, hogy egy márkabolt előtt próbababaként pózoljunk, utána meg Omotesando közepén fejezzük ki az érzelmeinket.. Ezt senki se értette, úgyhogy elég random képek születtek. Most nézem csak, hogy mivel feltettem facebookra a képeket és 1-2nél a helyet is pontosan hozzáadtam, megjeleníti őket a térképemen. Ha valaki gondolja nézze meg, elég durván látszanak a távok. Ezt a legyalogolt távot 1 óra alatt szoktuk megtenni vonattal meg metróval amúgy.

 Omotesando was the next place where we had to take pictures. I've been here with my host family in Tokyo at the end of my exchange year. I finally wrote an email to them!! Telling them that I'm back to Tokyo. Well anyway, the task was to pose like models in front of a brand store, and then express your emotions at the middle of Omotesando. Noone really understood that one, so we took some random pictures. I'vejust noticed that since I added the exact location to these pictures on FB, you can view them on my map. So those who are interested... The distances are more obvious then.

A következő a híres neves Harajuku, ahova eddig még rendes időben nem keveredtem el sajnos. Kb reggel 6 volt mikor itt jártunk, így még semmi sem volt nyitva, viszont nagyon meleg volt már és szerintem 5-kor feljött a nap, de úgy teljesen. Otthon is ennyire hamar van napkelte? Már azt hittem hogy 8-9 óra van, pedig 5.30 ha volt... A Takeshita úton kellett reggeli képet készíteni. Úgyhogy ásítás, fogmosás stb: Közben leelőzött minket a következő csapat, de szerencsére bementek a Mekibe úgyhogy vagy 30 perces előnyre tettünk szert. Nálunk 4 lány volt eredetileg, engem is beleértve, és mindannyian nagyon jól bírtuk. Jó én mentem elől végig, de a többi 3 lány nem nyafogott annyit mint a kínai meg koreai csajok a többi csapatban. Azok amiatt nem tudtak haladni, mint utólag megtudtuk.

The next one was the famous Harajuku, where I didnt have the time to go shopping yet... Unfurtunately it was 6 am, so no stores were opened yet. :) Btw the sun came up really early! I don't know how is it in other places, but it was only 5.30, it already felt like 8-9 am, because it was so bright and sunny. We hadto take morning pictures at the Takeshita street (the famous shopping street). Yawning, brushing our teeth etc: We got a little but lost, walked to the wrong direction but turned around after 5 mins, and the other team got there faster. Luckily they stopped my McDonalds so we got to Shinjuku 30 mins before them MWHAHAHA! There were 4 girls in our team, including me, and I think we did really well. I was always on the front but the other 3 girls, they never cried to stop or eat or anything. According to what I'veheard from other groups, the korean and chinese girls in their teams were complaining all the time, and they had to stop a lot. Well, japanese girls are probably much more fit, since they have to do so many sports in high school....

Omotesando üresen... alig láttunk pár embert./ Omotesando was completely empty...

Innen már tényleg a végállomás felé, a Shinjuku Central Parkhoz tartottunk. Útközben el kellett mennünk a Yoyogi park mellett is, ami amúgy gyönyörű szép! Viszont mikor az ember lába egy ólomsúlyhoz hasonlít, már nem nagyon tudja ezt értékelni...

We were heading to Shinjuku Central Park, to our final destination after this. We passed by the Yoyogi Park which is really beautiful, but when you've been walking for 7 hours and your legs feel like they were made of iron... you can't really care. It was 6.30 btw. :)

Szerencsésen odaértünk Shinjukuba a Parkba, viszont nem találtuk a checkpointot. Mivel korán reggel volt, és előttünk csak egy csávó ért oda aki az egész úton futott, így elaludtak a ránk váró másodévesek is. Az a srác amúgy 9 óra alatt teljesítette a távot.. Végig futva. Nagyon beteg. :D Végül telefonáltunk nekik, és kb 10 méterrel mögöttünk voltak, csak mindenhol csövesek aludtak bőröndökkel meg cuccokkal körbevéve, nem nagyon tűntek ki... ^^"" Szerencsére ott kaptunk enni és innivalót, meg volt egy ilyen izomlazító spray amit mindenki használt utána.. Nagyon hatásos!! A lábam életre kelt utána. Fél órát pihentünk kb, aztán el kellett dönteni hogy vonatozunk-e vagy hazajövünk gyalog... Az E csoport amiben voltam, egy ember kivételével mindenki gyalogolt!! Mi vagyunk a legjobbak! :) Ez volt úgyis az egésznek a 2., nehezebb része. A térkép innen elég szar volt, annyira részletesen írta a dolgokat, hogy észre sem vettük de már eljöttünk a fele dolog mellett. Utána meg 10 km egyenes utat 2 km-nek látszó méretben tüntetett fel.. No sebaj. A következő checkpoint Zenfukuji-ben volt, addig megszenvedtünk már...

We got there to the Shinjuku Central Park but we couldnt find the checkpoint! Since it was really early in the morning, the people waiting for us fell asleep so we couldn't tell them from the homeless people sleeping around there.. X"D ^^" We called them and they happened to be only 10 meters away from us HAHAH. There we got food and drinks and a spray for the muscles. It helped so much, my legs came back to life! We couldn't relax there for too long, everyone had to make up their minds whether they were going to walk home - continue the course - or take a train. From our group - group E - most people (except for one guy) decided to walk! That's it, WE'RE THE BEST!! :) The map kinda sucked after Shinjuku, we didn't even notice that we've passed by half of the things, then wahad to walk 10 kms straight... well, somehow we arrived to the checkpoint in Zenfukuji though. :)

Ez a csapat, -1 lány meg -1 fiú +3 másik srác (egyikük nincs rajt a képen). Innentől így mentünk. :) Volt még egy csoport akik utánunk jöttek, szinten 11 fővel. / That's the group from Shinjuku... -1 girl and -1 guy, they stopped here, and +3 other guy. There was another group after us, with 11 members... I don't think that all of them has completed the whole course though...

Extra nagy üdítők... :D / Extra-sized drinks at a vending machine somewhere around Nakano station...

Zenfukuji után a következő állomás az Inokashira Park volt, ezúttal Kichijouji környékén. Hát szerintem ez volt a leghosszabb és leggyilkosabb táv. Térképen nézve is ez a leghosszabb, meg ekkorra már feljött a nap, déltájban gyalogoltunk és szénné égtünk. Leégett az arcom, a szám főleg meg a karom is ahol feltűrtem a hosszúujjút. :/ Most kenegetem mindenfélével hogy elmúljon... Itt csak a story képeket csináltuk meg, mivel volt egy olyan feladat még, hogy 3 JR állomás előtt pózolva csináljunk képeket és írjunk hozzá sztorit.


After Zenfukuji we had to walk till the Inokashira Park in Kichijouji. That was the longest distance thus the hardest to finish. It was hard because we had to walk in the daytime and the sun was shining, it was around 25 degrees. WHY IS IT CLOUDY TODAY?? My face and my arms got sunburnt and it hurts a lot. :( I'm trying to apply various creams on them to make it disappear... We had to take 3 pictures in front of the JR stations and create a story, that was the last task.

A sztori a következő: 8 jóbarát elindult egy hosszú útra és az elején még frissek és üdék voltak, majd lassan elfáradtak végül a legvégén kidőltek. XD Ennyi.... És a másik csapat ugyanezt a sztorit kreálta... HAHAHAH Azt hiszem 24 óra ébrenlét és 14 óra séta után ennyire futja...
 The story is the following: 8 good friends set out on a journey and at the beginning they were full of energy, then they started to be tired and at the end they passed out. xD It turned out that the other team created the exactly same story, so I guess being awake for 24 hours and walking for 14 hours makes you unable to think about anything else...

 Az Inokashira parkban semmi említésre méltó nem volt, sajnos a végén utolért 3 srác a következő csapatból, de míg ők pihentek, mi elindultunk. Miután annyira voltunk frissek mint az a 3. képen látszik, eltévedtünk. xD A Mitaka állomás utáni részen szar volt a térkép, nem jelölte hogy 2 út van, azt hitték egyből a jón indul el mindenki??? Mert velünk nem ez történt. Gondoltuk hogy megint rossz oldalon vannak a dolgok, úgyhogy mentünk tovább, sajnos párhuzamosan a sínekkel, míg az út egyre csak jobbra kanyarodott volna... Iphone meg városban levő térképek segítségével visszataláltunk de kb 3-4 km pluszt sikerült belevinni. Mire odaértünk a parkba, már délután 2.00 volt.. Hívogattuk a checkpointosokat, nem vették fel, és már indulni akartunk tovább mert ez egy bazinagy park volt,akkora hogy kocsival 10 perc átmenni rajta.. És amúgyis a nyomunkban volt a következő csapat. Erre nagy japánosan közölték hogy neeem, várjuk meg őket, mert a nevünket be akarják jelölni hogy megvagyunk. Mondtuk hogy telefonon elmondjuk mert nem akarunk 20 percet fölöslegesen gyalogolni oda. Végül elénk jött két srác, de 1 teljes rohadt órát várattak minket!! A Zackkel már tiszta idegek voltunk. Mikor meg odaértek, végig csak jött a mosoly mosoly, hogy jaj nem kértek inni, csináljunk képeket... Közben közölték hogy amúgy a másik csoport most ott van a checkpointnál, nálam ez nagyon elvágta azt az egy idegszálat amin táncikáltak. Végül odaértünk, erre fényképezedni akartak... A Zack is tiszta ideg volt, szóval le se ültünk közöltük hogy megyünk tovább. ERRE még egy képet akartak csinálni, amit szerintem nem tesznek fel sehova, mert olyan "meghalsz" fejet vágtam meg hozzá a kötelező píszt... A Zackben volt még lélekerő valami kis erőltetett mosolyt vágni, nekem már nem ment. Szép magyarosan hátat fordítottam és elindultam... Utána valahogy visszatért az erőnk és kb futottunk 10 percet, közben elszidtuk már midennek ezeket, mert nem az hogy nem leszünk elsők, hanem 1 róhadt órát várattak, valószínűleg akkor égtem le, és még egy rohadt bocsit sem bírtak kinyögni. A mi csapatunk egyszer sem ült be egy étterembe se, nagyon igyekeztünk végig, a másik csoport meg többször étterembe is beült meg nem is csipkedték magukat annyira és mégis ők értek így be előbb, ezek miatt. Szóval ez a közjáték nem hiányzott. Még most is kicsit feldühített ahogy írom. A csapat többi része maradt, mert be kellett várniuk egy srácot, aki végül velünk szembe jött :"D Úgyhogy csatlakozott hozzánk és így 3-an mentünk egy darabig. Miután elszidtuk angolul az egész checkpointos brigádot (ugyanazok az emberek jártak körbe kocsival), lehiggadtunk és bevártuk a csapat többi tagját, mert inkább szenvedjük végig együtt, mint ketten agyvérzés közeli állapotban. Jó volt újra látni a többieket :) Végül a Zack ismert egy rövidebb utat is, úgyhogy nagy nehezn 16.40 körül odaértünk Kodairába. Nem lett akkora előnye a másik csapatnak, erkölcsileg meg miénk a győzelem de akkoris... Ők azt hiszem 16.20-ra értek oda.

 Nothing really happened that would worth mentioning at the Inokashira park, when we were about to leave 3 guys from the next team caught up with us... damn. After being so damn fresh as you can see on the 3. picture, we got lost at Mitaka. The map was crappy again, and I dont know they assumed we would find the right way if there are 2 ways and they only put 1 on the map? Well.. we didnt. So we ended up walking an extra 3-4 kms and got to the next park at 2 pm. Koganei Park is damn huge, and we tried calling the checkpoint but they didnt pick up! One was busy and the other one was turned off. WTF? We called the headquarter to tell them we were heading back them, without stopping at the checkpoint, but they told us to wait. Yeah, wait for 1 whole hour! The other team ended up getting there before us because these guys at the checkpoint made us wait for so damn long. It pissed me and Zack off so much that we went on without stopping there. The others were too japanese to show that they were pissed off too. What pissed me off the most was that they didn't say sorry or anyting! They offered us drinks and food and stuff like that, and they wanted to take pictures of us when we were clearly in a bad mood. Even after I said no thanks and i was obviously pissed off, they took one... you can imagine: a "you're gonna die soon" look and the peace sign... I appreciate their efforst, because they organized this event and reported it to the police so we won't be stopped for walking on the streets at night, etc, but they could have been a bit more considerate and organised. So we left. After 10 mins we kinda calmed down and waited for the rest of them group, cause we've been walking together for 14 hours, it wouldn't have worth getting there without them. It was nice getting there as a team, plus we agreed on dashing to the Plaza office at the dorm... :D So we took one picture and they offered to carry us tthere, but since we're too hardcore, we ran!! :D (We arrived back to Kodaira at 16.40, 20 mins after the other team.) 


 It was a really cool even all in all, and next week I want to participate as a part of the support team. :D No way I'd walk this much again.

Miután visszaértünk kaptunk főtt kaját, addigra már lenyugodtunk, aztán kb 5-kor feljöttem a szobámba, még írtam fbra meg fogat mostam és kidőltem. Ma reggel 9-ig fel se keltem.... 15 óra alvás, azt hiszem kellett. :)


We got warm food at the office and I got back to my room around 5... I brushed my teeth, posted on fb and went to sleep... I slept for 15 hours!!! :D Well, I think I deserved it. 

A csapattal azóta is tartjuk a kapcsolatot, Misakival holnap együtt ebédelünk a többiek meg lehet hogy átjönnek ma vacsira... meg a golden week alatt mindenképp összehozunk egy közös ebédet/vacsit még.:) Hát már csak emiatt is megérte legalább... A golden week amúgy azt jelenti hogy ma, hétfőn nincs suli, holnap meg szerdán lesz, végül csütörtöktől vasárnapig megint szünet!!!:)

  With the team we'll keep in touch, I'm going to have lunch with Misaki tomorrow and the others might come over for dinner tonight.. we'll see that. But during the golden week we'll definitely go out somewhere together as a group again. :) Golden week means no school today, and a break again from Thursday. ;) I'll only have 3 classes this week.. One tomorrow and 2 on Wednesday... HAHAHAH




Beadtam az összes megállót googlemapse, és aszerint 21,4 km, de egy sokkal rövidebb utat mutat mint amin mi jöttünk. :D Plusz úgy 4 óra 20 perc lenne... A lábaim felzokogtak hogy mennyivel egyszerűbben is mehettünk volna, ha ismertük volna rendesen a környéket.
Shinjukuből egész jól megcsinálták, a rohadt checkpointok miatt kb 5-6 km-rel több lett az egész út, ahol meg eltévedtünk Mitakában egy háromszögnek az átfogója helyett a két befogóját jártuk végig... Minden kitérő nélkül elvileg 20,5 km lett volna, de ahogy beadtam a checkpointok helyeit, 24 lett. :) És akkor tegyk hozzá a változtatásokat stb. A végén az a 60 km nagyon is pontos számnak tűnik... Huh.

I typed all the stops to googlemaps and it says 21,4 kms only for the sightseeing part, but those ways are much shorter than the one we've walked on.. My feet are crying. xD We had to walk around the Yoyogi Park, when we could have crossed it etc.. 
From Shinjuku to the first checkpoint it looks okay, but the other checkpoints.. they added plus 5-6 kms to it. And when we got lost in Mitaka, probably another 3-4 kms. Without the checkpoints googlemaps said 20,5 kms, with them 23. xD 60kms seems to be a really accurate number now. :O

Sorry, I've been too lazy and busy to do it. I have a lot to do but I don't know how to start them, so updating my blog seemed to be the best idea. :D


Well, I'll go backwards then. I had a job interview on Thursday which went quite well. I'll start on May 10 th, first by watching another exchange student teaching English, and after that I'll have to start teaching too. They'll watch me first and if they think that I'm all right, then I get the job for sure. 
It's a bit far though, but they're going to cover the travel fees. :) I'll have to take a train for 20 mins and bus for 25... but oh well. 
It wasn't just an interview, they made me write a test. 6 questions, 3 of them was about English and rest about teaching methods. I had to read 3 texts and write a brief summery about them in Japanese. In the 2. one I had to read a text, find the grammar mistakes and explain - in Japanese - why are they incorrect. The rest was in japanese, "If A teacher is good at talking, she explains everything properly, etc and B teacher isn't really good at talking, and not the best teacher, how come that people from B teachers class improve faster than A teachers?" That was the 4. question... I thought my answer completely sucked, but it seems that I got it right... Because the students of A teacher don't study at home, while B teachers do since they didn't get it at the school... Simple, huh?
In the last one I had to explain the difference between adverbs and adjectives and raise examples for both... In japanese of course. I'm not really sure if I'll have to use English... HAHAHAH


On the way home I almost got ran over 3 times... Seriously, I was so scared by the time I got to the dorm.. What's wrong with these drivers???? They go crazy as soon as it starts raining... 
Oh btw, it's been raining almost all week, so I had to bike school in the rain... I took some dry clothes with me and changed when I got there. I'm not going to pay 600 yen for the train every day.

This is how sexy I looked like with all my hair tucked under a hat. XD Looks like I've been going through chemotheraphy... My hair didn't get wet so it was perfect!


Oh yeah Ihad to hurry back home, because on Wednesday my korean friends told me that there was going to be a huge party for the first graders. And that started at 7 pm. I finsihed at the school around 16.10, got on my bike around 16.50 and biked home in record time... I ran into my room and got ready in 10 mins.. I still don't know how. xD From a wet biker I turned into an elegant suited first grader... HAHA We managed to get there in time and the whole event was really nice.


As you can see the pictures in the post from Friday... I went there with my korean friends. :) They're so cute and helpful. In that entry I wrote that I was going to have lunch with Ji-hyon, the girl on the left, but I didnt. XD We both forgot it...
Anyway, on the way we met two guys from our class. It's funny, cause I didn't know we were classmates. I don't spend time with my classmates unfurtunately, because these classes are only for the language classes and for making friends. Since I'm in the intermediate french group, I don't see them at all. 
Unexpectedly most girls didn't take part in this event. :O I don't know why, it was really worth it. The food was wow... the best from everything! It wasn't special food, but the best from every simple thing that we normally eat... High-class delicious wasabi, curry rice, steak etc. The schools cheerleading team performed for abour 20 mins, then we could eat again. It was a good event to see my grade, because at school we can't really tell who's in which grade. 
I got stared at a lot, though Elena was there too... She couldn hide because she's really short. :'D I couldnt...


After the event, around 9-10ish, we went to a restaurant to have dessert with my class. :D We missed the cake cause they didn't have enough for everyone. I ended up sharing a pafé with Sulgi-chan, my korean friend, because it was way too big. 
It was cool to chat with them and I found a "nerd" who was willing to talk to me about the japanese administrative system and economical problems both in Hungary and in Japan... HHAHAHAH By nerd I mean someone who actually knew it... I like talking about stuff like that, even weird times and places.


Now about Wednesday & Tuesday:


On wednesday I was woken up by an earthquake! The first one I've ever felt... It wasn't that bad, only  3 on the Richter-scale. I thought that someone kicked or pushed my bed, so I woke up, it was still shaking a bit, and it took me a few seconds to realise what that meant. I was watching the things on the shelves then, but they were okay so I just fell asleep again. 


On Tuesday there was another Welcome party, this time for the Hitotsubashi International Students. 
You can see the pictures on the post from Wednesday, Andi and me were wearing hungarian folk clothes. :) People didn't even realise it till we told them. XDD They thought it was just another weird shirt.. :'D 
The food was really good, though I got a bit late so the best parts were already gone. There was a stand though, where a guy was making hand-made sushi for those who lined up for it... It was totally worth it! We lined up 3 or 4 times... HAHAH And they had beer and wine and champagne! That's the biggest difference between this one and the official one for the first graders... International students are usually a bit older, so we're allowed to drink. I don't know what would I do here if I wasn't 20 already.... It makes life so much easier and less complicated. :"D They can't sign papers by themselves, they parental authentication for everything. 


I got my papers from the Immigration Bureau btw! So I can officially start working now. :) I met an old guy there, who happened to be a public notery in Kodaira, and he gave me his business card. I might to do some job at his company sometimes, like writing contracts in English or Japanese... What a lucky day! 
But after getting this, a job and not getting hit by 3 cars this week, I think I kinda used up my luck for this month. Probably not winning the walking rally was the first sign... Lucky that it's May 1st tomorrow. :) 


I've just noticed that I still haven't translated the entry from last Monday. When we went to Shibuya for german beer and ramen.


I've been saving up for that evening, and it's good because the beer turned out to be really delicious and really expensive. 1400 yen for one bottle... :"D It seems that I won't be a regular in that bar.


We we're planning to go with 11 people, but so many of them cancelled that it was only 5 of us. 2 japanese guys, Chamcham from Cameroon and Madeleine from Germany and me. The ramen was really delicious but I couldn't finish mine. XD What a shame...


The beer was the main part of this evening I gues... MWHAHAH It was worth paying that much for it! We wanted to continue drinking later, but we barely made it to the last train to Kokubunji and we missed the connection to Kodaira, so we had to walk. We got another can of beer - just a cheap japanese one - for that distance. :) It was really funny. Especially because it was a Sunday evening, so we got home at 1 am - on Monday. xD We all had school after that... I mean, okay it's university so we could have skipped it, but I had French class, that I ended up getting late from, and language classes can't be skipped that often. 
I got late btw because it was raining, and I had to go by train and I left the dorm too late, because I was calling the internet company... I'm having problems with it. Sometimes it disconnects me without any reason and its not wireless... Now I'm using another cable, the one I got from the Plaza office when I checked in to the dorm and that one works for some reason... 


Well, to make it short that my week... Quite a lot for one week, isn't it? XD And next week is a holiday so I'll either end up being at home not doing anything, or end up not being at home at all... Hanging out with friends etc... I should really go shopping for a few neccessary stuff soon, so probably the second one.. 
I miss talking to my family and friends though. :S Time difference is really a bitch. I especially miss talking to my boyfriend, I hope you'll read it, Veigar!! : )
